Simon Kaboré is an aviation expert with 30 years’ experience entirely dedicated to the field of civil aviation supervision and the field of air transport. He assumed several responsibilities in his country, among which Director Civil Aviation and Administrator of Airports Burkina.
In the air transport sector, Simon Kaboré was member of the board of ASECNA (consisting of 18 countries) and of the multinational airline Air Afrique, a company representing 11 countries of West and Central Africa at that time. Having had initially a formation in air bases, Simon Kaboré uses his leisure time to publish aviation articles in the `expert opinion` section of the West African magazine ` L`ESSENTIEL `.
He is a certified instructor with ICAO, having completed multiple years of teaching in de fields of security and safety. He is as well involved in supervising one of the largest airport engineering firms in Sub Saharan Africa. Currently he is Executive Secretary with the Union of Airport Administrators from Central and West-Africa.
He coordinates the world team of the International Lions Club, district 403-A1, and he is married with 3 children.
