She is a Civil Aviation Engineer, who graduated from the National Civil Aviation School (ENAC) of Toulouse, France, in 1988. While in France, she equally trained as private pilot and obtained her private pilot license.
She returned to Cameroon in 1989 to join the Directorate of Civil Aviation within the Ministry of Transport where she successfully served as an officer and Deputy Head of Air Transport Unit. Subsequently, she was appointed Head of Air Navigation Department to ASECNA, the Air Navigation Service Provider in 17 States in Africa. As part of that assignment, she managed the provision of air navigation and aerodrome services at all the major airports in Cameroon.
Between 1996 and 2008, she worked with the United Nations in various locations and capacities. Following a rewarding working experience with international organizations, she returned to Cameroon to develop the first Approved Training School (ATO) in Cameroon in her capacity of Head of Training. In the meantime, she was trained as an aircraft operations inspector.
In 2012, Madam KOKI joined the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority as Director of Aviation Safety. During four years, Madam KOKI coordinated all safety oversight related activities in the aviation industry in Cameroon including oversight of airlines, air traffic services providers, aerodrome service providers, maintenance organizations. She was the key player in Cameroon reaching Abuja Targets with regard to the implementation of an effective safety oversight system (Cameroon achieved an effective implementation of 60.2% at the end of 2015).
From the position of Director of Aviation Safety, she was promoted to Director General in December 2015, a position which she holds till date. In this capacity, in addition to safety, air transport and infrastructural development, she is setting strategies and policies for security measures in all airports of Cameroon.
Madam Koki was vice-president of two AFI Planning and Implementation Regional Group (APIRG) meetings in 2013 and 2014. During the 39th session of ICAO Assembly held in 2016, she was elected vice-president of the Technical Commission. She was also a member of the ICAO’s Safety Management Panel. She participated in several working groups as part of AFAC’s activities and the European Union project on improvement of air transport in Central Africa (Project ATA-AC)
