Gilles joined Smiths in 2008 serving in various sales roles across Europe and Africa. Gilles was first responsible of the Business Development from Smiths Detection brand for airports market within France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
In June 2009 Gilles took over additional responsibility from Maghreb and Indian Ocean countries as Key Account Manager with outstanding turnkey projects achievements as complete security equipment for New International Terminals and provision of Explosive Detection Systems Solutions for the most renowned French, Belgian and Luxemburgish Airport Platforms.
In August 2012 he was promoted as Regional Sales Manager for Southern and Eastern Africa. He is in charge of distribution network management and promotion of all portfolio from Smiths Detection within 19 countries.
Gilles has a Master Degree in Finance and Business Management (Hons) at INSEEC Group in Paris.
Gilles is married to Binti and they have three children.
