Engr. Abelardo D. Sore, Jr., currently heads the Aviation Project Development Unit (APDU) of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), which are in-charge in the preparation of Detailed Engineering Design of all locally funded airport projects in the Philippines in coordination with Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). The APDU is also involved in the procurement and monitoring of implementation of the Department’s airport projects and report the same to the office of Capt. Manuel Antonio L. Tamayo, our Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports.
Engr. Jun Sore is also the Project Manager of the newly constructed Bohol-Panglao International Airport which is dubbed as the Philippines first Eco-Airport by providing Japanese technologies such as energy saving and sustainable environmental protection for the Bohol-Panglao International Airport.
He served with the DOTr for 30 years and a licensed Civil Engineer by profession, graduated from Adamson University in 1985 and attended some of the following trainings:
He is also affiliated with Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers and associate member of World Safety Organization.
Engr. Jun Sore was born at Imus, Cavite on June 20, 1963 and presently residing at Las Piñas, Metro Manila, happily married to Evangeline Salvador Sore and blessed with 3 wonderful kids.
