Having experience of more than 34 years in aviation sector as a government official for DGCA Indonesia, Ms. Murani is an expert in the field of aviation particularly aviation security and aerodromes. Ms.Murani currently is a Deputy Director of Airport System and Environment in Directorate of Airports, DGCA Indonesia. Under her supervision from 2015 to present time, over 20 airport masterplans and airport Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) documents has been published by the Airport System and Environment Division. Moreover, she is currently reviewing Indonesia’s policy on National Airport System.
Ms.Murani was previously an airport head for 5 (five) consecutive years (2010-2015) in three different airports named Kalimarau Airport, Fatmawati Soekarno Airport, Budiarto Airport and Radin Inten II Airport. Ms.Murani has attended various local and international trainings and courses in the field of aviation security and aerodromes such as FOO training in Jakarta, ICAO course on Aviation Security Instructor in Malaysia, Indonesia Ministry of Transport training on Company Aviation Safety Officer in Jakarta, ICAO training on Audit Procedures in Jakarta, JICA training on Aviation Security in Japan and ICAO course on Upgrading of Flight Operations Surveillance in Jakarta. Ms.Murani was joined in JICA team for contingency exercises of Aviation Security and attended international seminar on building international cooperation against terrorism conducted by Indonesia Crime Prevention Foundation.
