Maarten Caspers has been working with NACO Netherlands Airport Consultants as Airport Architect since 2013. He started working at the world-leading airport consultancy and engineering firm after obtaining his master degrees in both Architecture and Urbanism at Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands.

During his 5 years with NACO he rapidly developed his knowledge and experience in airport planning and design as well as in the field of airport city planning. He has been involved in projects worldwide ranging from terminal functional planning and design, terminal area master planning to airport city planning.

During the last 3 years he focussed on various airport projects and on NACO’s business development in China. He led various design competitions in China while teaming up with local design institutes. Most successful were the wins for the design of the new terminal at Urumqi International Airport and the plan for Xixian Airport City in Xi’an. Besides China, he has been involved in projects throughout Europe, Middle East, Asia, and in his home country The Netherlands.

Currently he is stationed in Vietnam as lead technical advisor for the construction supervision of the new green field Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
