Ravi Pratap Singh is currently the International Marketing and Sales Manager for the airport industry at Leonardo S.p.A within the Security & Information Systems Division. Leonardo is a global high-tech company and one of the key players in Aerospace, Defence, Security and Automation. As a single entity from January 2016, organised into seven business divisions (Helicopters; Aircraft; Aero-structures; Airborne & Space Systems; Land & Naval Defence Electronics; Defence Systems; Security & Information Systems), Leonardo operates in the most competitive international markets by leveraging its areas of technology and product leadership. Headquartered in Italy, Leonardo has over 45,000 employees.

Ravi has been working on major projects relating to air and ground transportation and has developed expertise in new strategic initiatives and innovative business models connected with emerging technologies. With experience in international marketing and sales as well as in material handling, sorting technologies and direct relationship with customers worldwide, Ravi has gained a deep understanding of technology innovation he leveraged to approach the airport industry with the ultimate value proposition for baggage handling and smart airports with special focus on operating costs reduction and efficiency improvement.

Before entering the airport industry, Ravi worked in aerospace and defence industry within the Airborne & Space Systems Division, especially in special mission aircrafts.

Ravi received his Bachelors and Master Engineering Degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management in India. He did his Master in Business Administration (M.B.A) from Rome, Italy.
