Pacifique Musongera is Burundian born in Gitega Province, located in the center of the country.
He graduated from the University of Burundi in 2008 (BA degree). He has been a secondary school teacher for one year before joining aviation field in 2010. From 2010, he joined Burundi CAA as a trainee air traffic controller, then studied Air traffic control (Aerodrome control and Approach Control). Since then he was an air traffic controller at Bujumbura control tower, then became Chief Air Navigation Services in 2013. He is trained as inspector Air Navigation Services; Search and Rescue, etc.
From February 2015 up to now, he is Director Airports and Air Navigation Services at Burundi CAA.
He has been member of the technical team during the “EAC Upper Flight Information Region Follow on Study project” (EAC- UFIR Project ).
